A licensed CPA since 2013, Parker has worked closely with owners of small businesses since the earliest stages of his career.  After working with owners of rental properties, dog care businesses, filmmakers, and more, he realized the surprising similarities between accountants and photographers.

He was just as shocked as you.

Accountants and photographers are both focused on the details.  Accountants look at transaction-level detail of each dollar earned or spent; nothing is too granular.  Photographers look at lighting, f-stop, aperture, focus, and color to craft the perfect image.

At the same time, accountants and photographers never miss the forest for the trees.  Accountants consider long-term strategy, context of transactions, and the regulatory environment in which a business operates.  Photographers consider their brand, their pricing, their style, and how they fit into the niche in which they operate best.

Parker learned that there is a lot more to photography than "point and shoot" - and now he works with photographers to show that accountants can think outside the box, too!
